→ June’s Hair-story

Dear Hairapy Devotees,

I wish to take this tender moment in our shared bond together, long or short, to emphatically appreciate you all from the depths of my being. Your significant encouragement and ongoing trust in me with your magical manes and of those of your extended families and friends has truly been the ultimate hair honour the last 24 years of me working in the industry.

I am deeply dishearten to share that, due to an unforeseen health crisis at the start of April of this year, I had to make the devastating decision to close my business permanently to refocus my energy on my recovery and healing. I am so profoundly apologetic for being suddenly absent. With recent welcome strides, this process has proven more challenging than initially expected.

This was one of the most complex decisions I have ever had to make in my career as a hairapist, in fact in my lifetime, but imperative to ensure that I would be able to return to optimal strength to you in mind, body and soul. I endeavour to resume this path of passion, continuing to deliver the level of care and quality you are accustomed to. Your thoughtful and creative gestures of nourishing love have awakened the realization that I have never been alone in this journey. 

I could not be more elated to share that commencing Sunday, September 7th, 2025 I will be returning to service part time on Sunday and Monday's under the wonderful wing of local lady legend herself owner and stylist Hayley Bloomfield of H&Co. She has very kindly and generously invited me to join her family of happy hairapists in her most stunning and ever so charming second floor studio located at 569 King Street West, at Portland. Sunday's I will be able to extend our private one on one sessions, as well as the option to have our sessions mutually masked upon request. I will additionally be available on Magic Monday's working alongside Hayley's very classy company herself for parts of the day. As a dedication to all of my current/active VIP client unicorns I will not be accepting new guests at this time. *Those who were unfortunately cancelled during the first two months of my unexpected leave will be the only exceptions.

Thank you so dearly for your remarkable patience, compassion and wellness wishes during this most delicate time. You have been absolutely heaven sent to me truly. I feel profoundly blessed to be in this precious place in life to offer another fresh and exciting chapter in our beautiful book of hairapy.
