June’s Hair-story

A hair architect in the making over the past 23 years, June expertly blends her artist's eye with her technical precision to provide unparalleled style and service to her clients.

Her craft originally cultivated at 'Civello' salon had inspired her to open her (by appointment only) single chair hair studio in the heart of the fashion district on Queen Street West in 2009, where she devoted her love of hairapy for 13 years. She has recently moved locations to a charming 2 level stand alone coachhouse on 17 Stephanie Street continuing to provide an exclusive PRIVATE one on one experience to her guests. June is a Green Circle Salon member that recycles all PPE for renewable energy and all hair clippings are used in the clean-up of oil spills. She is a Kevin Murphy and Paume agent, which are sulphate, paraben, and cruelty-free lines. She is well known for her dry haircutting techniques offering a unique ‘Blended’ haircut which allows her haircuts to look their finest in their most natural/casual varieties as well as dressed up, creating a long lasting and eco-friendly impression.

In addition to her work behind the chair, she brings 9 years as a graphic artist into the mix. She is marrying her past to her present with her passion for visual tailoring.

June's beauty philosophy is to create tasteful, organic looks that are balanced, harmonious and add a subtle hint of contrast based on her subject. Each session is incredibly involved as she delivers an extensive 101 tutorial on how to become the master of one's own mane. This educational experience extensively outlines how to care for the hair effortlessly, allowing the haircut to stand the test of time as designed.

"I am exploring my maturing love of 'the art of hair design.' Manifesting a nurturing relationship that vision crafts and rejuvenates. I wish to be the well from which I draw from.”
